Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Vanessa Miler-Fels as Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain Safety, Environment, Real Estate and Sustainability.
Stepping into the role from 1st October, Miler-Fels will succeed Piao Jin, who will move into the role of Senior Vice President, GSC East Asia Industrial Cluster.
The Fortune Global 500 company described the appointment as reinforcing its commitment to embedding sustainability within its global supply chain transformation, highlighting the importance of building resilience, efficiency and long-term sustainability to meet broader environmental and social objectives.
Miler-Fels is currently Global Environment Vice President within Schneider Electric’s Sustainability organisation, where she has been instrumental in advancing the company’s climate strategy.
She brings more than 20 years of experience in environmental leadership, with previous roles at the French Ministry of Energy, a UK-based green infrastructure fund, and Microsoft where she led renewable energy procurement and supply chain decarbonisation.
In her new role, Miler-Fels will report to Chief Supply Chain Officer Mourad Tamoud and join the GSC leadership team, contributing to global initiatives across sustainability, safety and real estate.
Commenting on her appointment, Miler-Fels said she was honoured to take on the role during what she described as a critical moment in Schneider Electric’s supply chain transformation.
“Sustainability and safety are not just operational imperatives – they are strategic levers for impact and powerful engines of innovation. I look forward to working with our global teams to accelerate environmental and social progress across the full value chain,” she said.
Tamoud added that Miler-Fels’ deep expertise in climate and environmental strategy, combined with her global perspective, made her well-suited to lead the next phase of the company’s supply chain evolution.
“Her appointment reflects our commitment to building a supply chain that is not only resilient and efficient, but also safe, sustainable and aligned with our purpose,” he said.
