Proxima, part of Bain and Company, has announced plans to increase its APAC headcount by 50 percent, with new team members set to join the global procurement and supply chain consultancy in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.
The consultancy is actively seeking talent with procurement and consulting expertise across facilities management, logistics, professional services and technology sectors, calling this a “true statement of intent in the region”.
This regional growth will continue into 2027 and follows the appointment of seven senior professionals over the past six months, including four in Australia: Asha Salathiel, Vice President (Brisbane), MyLinh Burgio, Principal Consultant (Melbourne), Karl van Nes, Vice President (Sydney) and Kate Cowdroy-Ling, promoted to Operations Lead APAC (Melbourne).
Proxima has attributed this expansion to rising client demand across the region and its focus on building strong, locally embedded teams with deep market expertise.
“The calibre of talent we’re attracting in APAC demonstrates both the strength of our regional proposition and the significant opportunity ahead,” said Dan Collings, Executive Vice President, Proxima APAC.
“We’re building the team that will establish Proxima as the partner of choice for procurement transformation across the Asia-Pacific.
“APAC represents a critical growth engine for Proxima globally, and we’re backing that with significant investment in people, capability and local market presence.”
Proxima revealed it was expanding into the Asia-Pacific region and joining forces with leading APAC procurement consultancy ArcBlue at PASA’s 13th Annual Premier ConfeX last October.
Since then, it has seen strong momentum working with organisations across airlines, financial services, healthcare, telecommunications and technology sectors to deliver measurable cost optimisation, procurement transformation and supply chain outcomes.
“With our growing regional team and expanding client base, we’re confident in our position as a long-term partner for organisations across Asia-Pacific,” added Collings.
“We’re combining global expertise with deep local market understanding and the demand we’re seeing validates this approach.”
