LAP Alliance and World Commerce & Contracting (WorldCC) have released their fifth global ‘State of Agility in Procurement & Supply’ survey, with a specific focus on next-gen supply chain in the age of AI.
Exploring how AI is transforming the procurement and supply landscape, the survey delves into:
- How procurement and supply organisations are leveraging AI with agile methodologies
- Benchmarking AI adoption across procurement and supply functions
- Identifying successful AI-driven transformation strategies in commercial relationships
- Addressing the challenges of AI integration in supply chains

This survey explores how businesses are evolving their ways of working, leveraging AI, agility and collaboration to build the next-generation of supply relationships. Last year’s survey revealed 92 percent of respondents agreed that adopting agile in commercial functions (both supplier and buyer side) is strategic to their business, while 87 percent are engaging partners and suppliers in their enterprise agile transformation.
Elsewhere, 82 percent of respondents need to include more than one partner for solving complex problems, though most lack appropriate contracting strategies.
