Supply Nation, Australia’s leading supplier diversity organisation, has opened ticket sales for its premier Indigenous business event Connect, which is set to take place on 11 and 12 August at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Heralded as Australia’s largest and longest-running Indigenous business event, Connect supports the growth of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-owned businesses through meaningful procurement collaboration.
Featuring the Indigenous Business Tradeshow, Connect is expected to attract more than 200 verified Indigenous-owned businesses, who will exhibit a diverse range of products and services.
There will also be a Knowledge Forum to discuss challenges, examine future outlook and learn from best practice, while the winners of Supply Nation’s Supplier Diversity Awards will be announced at the event’s Gala Awards Dinner.
“Given the strength of industry in Western Australia, particularly the resources and energy sectors, it’s natural that we should bring Connect to Perth,” said Kate Russell, proud Awabakal woman and Supply Nation CEO.
“The number of our Registered and Certified Suppliers in WA is strong, with some very large businesses supporting the resources and construction sectors.
“Continuing to build commercial momentum through Connect, we are creating opportunities for Indigenous-owned businesses that lead to economic empowerment and self-determination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples right across Australia.”
The theme of this year’s flagship event is ‘Journey’, which reflects progress, growth and resilience, while honouring the enduring foundations of trade and entrepreneurship that sustain Indigenous economies and represent the legacy being built for future generations.
Supply Nation’s 2025 Sleeping Giant Rises report found that for every dollar of revenue produced by Indigenous-owned businesses, $3.66 of positive economic and social value was generated into the Australian economy.

Connect, which stands as a powerful celebration of Blak excellence, innovation and leadership, will be held on the lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation in Boorloo.
