State of Flux launches 2025 SRM Research

State Of Flux Survey

State of Flux has launched its 17th annual global Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Research, announcing a brand new theme for 2025: “From Customer of Choice to Customer Delight.”

The largest and most in-depth study of supplier management practices worldwide explores how being a supplier’s preferred customer can go beyond cost and risk benefits, enabling organisations to deliver an outstanding end-customer experience.

The study investigates how leading companies are unlocking value by becoming true partners to their most important suppliers.

Last year’s research revealed suppliers are responsible for up to 50 percent of the end-customer experience, with 2025’s building on this and asking: What happens when your suppliers prioritise you putting their best people, innovations and resources behind your business?

“Your brand experience doesn’t end at the factory gate or contract signature,” said Alan Day, Chairman and Founder of State of Flux.

“It’s delivered in-store, online, in customer interactions, often by someone who doesn’t work directly for you, but for your supplier. That’s why being a customer of choice is more than good procurement, it’s good business. The organisations who understand this are the ones who will truly delight their end-customers.”

Why take part?

You will be able to benchmark your supplier management maturity against global peers, receiving a personalised report and optional expert debrief.

You’ll also gain exclusive early access to the 2025 SRM Research Report, featuring new data, real-world case studies and insights from global leaders, with the opportunity to attend one of three in-person SRM Summits in London, Chicago or Melbourne.

The survey will take around 20 minutes to complete and is open until 1 July 2025. Participants are encouraged to gather input from a cross-functional group to gain a full picture of their organisation’s approach and opportunities for improvement.
