For the eleventh year in a row, Spend Matters has released its 50 Procurement Providers to Know and 50 Procurement Providers to Watch lists, alongside its Future 5 procurement tech startups and newly launched Hall of Fame.
Announced last week at the SIG Global Executive Summit in California, the 50/50 lists represent the best technology providers serving procurement, finance and supply chain organisations.
Highlighting relative newcomers to the market, The 50 Providers to Watch list is a celebration of vendors who are helping to push procurement forward, with Spend Matters selecting those they believe offer the latest and most innovative solutions to the industry.
This year’s list saw seven new vendors make their debut, including Craft, ebidtopay, mdf commerce, ORO Labs, Pactum and Raindrop.
Providing a complete rundown of the leading technology and services providers that continue to raise the bar for procurement by setting high industry standards, The 50 Providers to Know is a list of firms that every CPO should know about.
Look out for the six vendors – Anaplan, Cirtuo, Globality, QAD, SourceDay and Zip – who made the leap from Provider to Watch to Provider to Know, alongside Exiger and NPI who made it straight on to the Know list.
The Future 5 saw Blue Bean, COVALYZE, Halo AI, Ivoflow and True ValueHub take the crown, following a year of analysts scouring the market to find and scrutinise procurement tech newcomers.
For the first time ever, Spend Matters also launched its ‘Hall of Fame’, honouring the vendors that have been on the 50 to Know list for 10 years or more.
The inaugural class is made up of industry giants that support the S2P landscape and beyond, including Basware, Beeline, Coupa, GEP, Ivalua, Jaggaer, Oracle, SAP and SpendHQ.
Summing up the eleventh year of highlighting the best in procurement technology development and innovation, Nikhil Gaur, Spend Matters Director, Strategic Projects & Research Analyst, said:
“Spend Matters tracks some 1,500+ procurement and supply chain technology and services providers. Given the evolving market and the emergence of new technologies, we discover and take demos with new types of providers all the time. Solutions around ESG, risk, intake and orchestration come to mind.
“With the emergence of new procurement software and services offerings, decisions on who makes the lists are only getting tougher. We hope that the annual releases of our 50/50 lists, complemented by the Future 5 (now in its sixth year) and the inaugural Spend Matters Hall of Fame, continue to inspire debate about future technology investments, and we look forward to continuing to release these lists in the years to come.”
