Indian authorities register procurement corruption case against Rolls-Royce

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in India has registered a case against Rolls-Royce over alleged corruption in the procurement of trainer aircraft dating back almost 20 years.

The CBI has accused Rolls-Royce of engaging in corrupt practices in securing contracts related to the supply of engines for trainer aircraft used by the Indian Air Force. The case was filed based on a complaint received from the Defense Ministry. The investigation is ongoing, and the CBI will be looking into the role of executives involved in the alleged corruption.
