Procurement professionals across all healthcare sectors are being called upon to have their say, as the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) opens its revised draft of the Digital Health Procurement Guidelines for public consultation.
The Guidelines, first published in June 2024, are designed to support a coordinated and consistent approach to purchasing healthcare technology in Australia, by providing support to procuring and contracting authorities across Australian healthcare.
Aligning with international best practices, the Guidelines encompass guiding principles and practical guidance, including statements related to the digital health standards that should be considered as part of the sourcing process for technology solutions.
The 15-minute Procurement Guidelines Consultation Survey is open until 31 August 2025.
Share your feedback and help finalise the initial version, ensuring the Guidelines are usable, realistic and powerful.
“Your feedback is essential to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of existing content, identifying opportunities to enhance usability, improving user experience and suggesting additional content to maximise the value of the Guidelines,” said the ADHA.
