WorldCC launches World Sustainable Contracting Day program

World Sustainable Contracting Day

World Commerce and Contracting (WorldCC) has announced the program for World Sustainable Contracting Day – the annual, one-day global event dedicated to advancing sustainability within commercial and contracting practices.

Delivered online, the event is free to attend and will take place on Thursday 16th May.

Bringing together professionals, thought-leaders and experts to address challenges and opportunities, the program will provide practical guidance in sustainable contracting.

There will be breakout sessions and real-world case studies that provide actionable insights, as well as the opportunity to connect with professionals from around the world.

Now in its third year, World Sustainable Contracting Day will see over 1500 attendees gather across 177 countries to hear from 80 speakers.

Procurement experts will learn about:

  • Preparing for CSRD: practical guidance on preparing contracts
  • Modern slavery: practical guidance on due diligence and reporting
  • Decarbonisation through contracts: guidance on achieving net zero targets
  • Generative AI: getting ready for impact on sustainable contracting practices
  • Enhancing accessibility: comic contracts for vulnerable workers
  • Gender equality: contracts as a catalyst
  • Breaking the silence: ending the misuse of NDAs in business
  • Child labour in Latin American supply chains: strategies for sustainable solutions
  • Social value contracts: positive social impact directly through procurement
  • Supplier diversity: guidance on supplier diversity and Indigenous procurement
