WorldCC Foundation, an independent non-profit public charity working globally to achieve a world where all trading relationships deliver social and economic benefits, has released its 2023 annual report.
Sally Guyer, President and CEO of WorldCC Foundation, which is a subsidiary of the World Commerce & Contracting Association, said the annual report is a testament to the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to harnessing the power of contracts and the contracting process to create a better world.
“As we reflect on our progress, I am filled with optimism for the future. The WorldCC Foundation is unique in bringing together diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration and innovation across traditional dividing lines. Together, we can build a world where trading relationships truly advance the well-being of communities and the environment,” she said.
Silvia Pessah Eljay, Chair of the Board of Directors, WorldCC Foundation said the report is true evidence of the Foundation’s commitment to creating inclusive contracts and contracting processes that incorporate everyone in this complex world.

Key features of the report include:
- Audacious Goals: WorldCC set six ambitious goals to be achieved by 2030, including reaching one million individuals with free educational resources and establishing 25 global support hubs to offer localised assistance
- World Sustainable Contracting Day: This event has become a pivotal platform for sharing best practices in sustainable contracting. The impact survey shows that 95 percent of participants now recognise the role they can play in achieving sustainability goals
- Massive Open Online Course: In partnership with Southampton University and supported by the UK government, WorldCC’s free online course has educated over 100,000 participants, empowering them with essential contracting knowledge
- Inspiring Women Program: Now in its third year, this popular program celebrates and supports the contributions of women in commerce and contracting. WorldCC has held 24 virtual events and published three books highlighting the achievements of these incredible women
- Contract Design Pattern Library: This resource has been accessed by nearly 65,000 individuals, helping to create clearer, more effective contracts. The library offers a wide range of templates and best practices to simplify contract creation
