Renaissance vs. resistance: Embracing human-centric AI with Art of Procurement

AI In Procurement

Did you miss out on Art of Procurement’s (AOP) latest webinar ‘Renaissance vs. Resistance: Embracing Human-Centric AI’? Good news! You can watch on demand

Originally hosted on 6th June, this insightful AOP webinar features guest speaker Darshan Deshmukh, president at ProcureAbility, who discusses the various human-centric aspects of AI and how procurement can play an active role in shaping and guiding the rapid changes happening across almost all industries.

Deshmukh says about 20-30 percent of procurement professionals currently sit in the ‘resistance’ camp, fearful of what AI may mean for their jobs while worrying about the rate of change.

On the other hand, Deshmukh believes that between 5-10 percent of procurement leaders view AI’s impact as a ‘renaissance’, which sees them embrace AI as a welcome opportunity to completely rethink their role and impact.

You’ll discover:

  • What ‘human-centric’ AI means
  • How effectively integrated AI can augment procurement’s efforts
  • Use cases about the additional results that procurement can deliver
