Procurement Australia has announced the appointment of Jane Holcombe as Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).

Commencing the role on 7 October, Jane will oversee and manage profitable supplier relationships, lead and develop the organisation’s category and sourcing teams, and negotiate terms and rebates.

She will also expand supplier networks and strategically curate product solutions for customer verticals, while taking responsibility for all supplier and solution-related communications.

Chief Executive Officer Steven Chaur said Jane joins Procurement Australia at an opportune time. 

“Her extensive experience and dedication to building strong supplier relationships will be invaluable as we continue to deliver collaborative supplier outcomes, enhance procurement acumen and drive sustainable financial improvements,” he said.

Jane brings over 19 years of senior procurement leadership spanning various sectors, including FMCG, oil & gas, retail, manufacturing and state government advisory work. 

She has held senior positions with Tabcorp, BP, VicTrack, Devondale Murray Goulburn and Costa Group.

“We are confident that Jane’s leadership, expertise and strategic mindset will play a key role in strengthening our sourcing capabilities and expanding our supplier networks. Her appointment marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing innovative and effective procurement solutions for our customers,” added Chaur.
