Preparing for the “Great Return” to the office

The return to the office is on with transport numbers of commuters and occupancy levels up in London, which begs the question when is the “Great Return” poised for Australia and New Zealand procurement teams?

What will it look like?

The UK has scrapped it’s Plan B and guidance asking people to work from home. In Melbourne businesses are already lobbying for the city’s comeback to kick up a notch and bring the workers back.

In London, transport is being reported as being 10 per cent busier at the city’s stations and office numbers are increasing to pre-Omicron levels.

Office landlord Investa has predicted a rebound in major Australian CBD office markets, according to the Australian Financial Review.

As COVID-19 restrictions start to ease around Australia, companies and organisations will need to prepare to reopen the doors to their offices in the short term.

We reported on “Workplace changes to expect in 2022” last month, but is your business for the “Great Return?”.
