JAGGAER has completed its acquisition of Ivoflow, a Koblenz-based spend and price intelligence platform for direct materials, with the deal closed on 11 September 2026.
The AI-powered procurement software provider says the acquisition targets one of procurement’s most persistent problems: organisations now hold more spend data than ever, but converting it into measurable savings remains difficult.
JAGGAER’s platform manages the procurement process end to end, from supplier selection through negotiation to invoice payment, for a customer base spanning manufacturers, universities, hospitals and government agencies.
Ivoflow, founded in 2020, focuses on whether the price a manufacturer is paying for a part still reflects the market.
Its software pulls together purchasing data that is typically scattered across systems and benchmarks it against external inputs such as commodity indices and currency movements.
Current customers include Georg Fischer, Sumitomo, Grammer, TI Automotive and ZF Lifetec.
The gap Ivoflow targets is large. Direct materials – the raw materials, parts and components that go into a manufacturer’s products – typically account for 50 to 70 percent of cost of goods sold for complex manufacturers.
However, fewer than two percent of manufacturers operate a purpose-built spend and price intelligence capability for the category, according to JAGGAER. Most, it says, are still comparing supplier prices by hand in spreadsheets.
Combining the two platforms is intended to put price intelligence inside the system buyers already use to manage purchasing, rather than requiring them to work in a separate tool.
JAGGAER says its purchasing and supplier data could also give Ivoflow a larger, more current set of prices to analyse.
Suppliers routinely ask manufacturers to accept price increases, citing higher costs for steel, plastic or other raw materials. Checking whether those requests are justified is manual and time-consuming, so many are approved without a proper review, and unjustified increases erode margin quietly over time, it adds.
Ivoflow’s software automates that check, reading a supplier’s price-increase request, breaking down the claimed cost drivers – raw materials, currency and labour – and testing them against market data.
In an example provided by JAGGAER, a supplier’s requested six percent increase was supported by only a 1.3 percent increase after the underlying cost drivers were checked.
The same system also scans a company’s existing spend on its own, flagging categories where prices have already drifted from the market before a supplier requests an increase.
Ivoflow’s co-founders, Daniel Demuth and Nicolas Neubauer, will continue to lead the Ivoflow team, which has joined JAGGAER as part of the deal.
JAGGAER says it intends to invest further in the product and roadmap, including scenario modelling, savings-probability generation and proactive procurement guidance.
“Ivoflow will enable buyers to manage more of their direct materials within a single platform, bringing powerful market and cost intelligence into supplier negotiations,” said Andrew Roszko, chief executive officer at JAGGAER.
“This means more transparent, fact-based conversations with suppliers, stronger partnerships and better commercial outcomes. We see real opportunity to invest in the team, expand the platform and accelerate what we can deliver together.”
“We built Ivoflow to help manufacturing companies become leaders in cost excellence and drive profitability,” said Neubauer.
“Joining JAGGAER gives us the reach and platform to bring that capability to many more customers and accelerate what we set out to build. We are very much looking forward to what lies ahead and to becoming part of the JAGGAER team.”
“JAGGAER gives us the opportunity to help shape the future of how manufacturing enterprises manage their spend and identify savings,” said Demuth.
“By combining Ivoflow’s capabilities with JAGGAER’s team, reach and platform, we can accelerate our roadmap, expand our AI capabilities and build toward becoming the leading provider of spend and price intelligence for manufacturers globally.”
