The Australasian Procurement and Construction Council (APCC) has crafted a procurement professionalisation survey — and your opinion counts!
The APCC is the peak council whose members are responsible for procurement, construction, property and asset management policy for Australian State and Territory governments, the Australian Government and the New Zealand Government.
The procurement function is critical to delivering productive outcomes in both the public and private sectors, relying on capabilities in business law, risk management and industry engagement applied across the procurement life cycle.
Increasingly, procurement is being asked to deliver a range of additional organisational and societal values, encompassing economic, environmental and social outcomes.
To continue to develop the procurement profession, investment is required to increase role clarity, capability depth and holistic career management.
The APCC is therefore developing a business case, supported by appropriate evidence, to better understand the drivers that will improve recognition of, and investment in, the procurement profession.
To help inform the business case, the APCC is conducting this survey to collect data on the current state of the professional development of procurement and the procurement profession itself.
The survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete and will close on Thursday, 25th January.
All results will be aggregated and no individual will be identified.
