ProcureTECH ’26
Australia & New Zealand’s Leading eProcurement Event
Thursday 26 March 2026 – The Pullman Hotel, Hyde Park Sydney
LIVE and in-person
ProcureTECH 2026.
ProcureTECH is the region’s largest independent event dedicated to eProcurement technology and digital transformation. Now in its 16th year, the 2026 program delivers practical insights, real-world case studies and direct access to leading solution providers.
Event Overview.
ProcureTECH is this region’s largest independent event specifically focussed on eProcurement technologies that directly enable and assist the procurement function.
The strategic drivers for investing in eProcurement technology and digital transformation now have to address a much broader range of value drivers to be delivered from the supply side – value far beyond cost management and incorporating:
- Raised service standards,
- Clearer supply chain visibility
- Greater compliance needs
- Widening range of ESG policies.
- New technological advancements, notably in AI
Ultimately, as well, procurement has to get better at making its business case. As Gartner research revealed at ProcureTECH’23, some 49% of business cases for new S2C, P2P or even ERP software for procurement fail completely, 34% are amended/reduced, and just 17% are approved as presented. Why?
Moreover, procurement workload is rising – by over 25% in the three years to January 2026 says The Hackett Group surveys – yet procurement FTEs are only rising at closer to 1% per annum – CPOs say this growing workload gap is set to be filled by eProcurement technology; But how?
Event Format.
For the first time since before the pandemic, ProcureTECH, now in its 16th edition, will be F2F and LIVE in person at The Pullman Hyde Park in Sydney CBD – on Thursday 26th March 2026 – and not online.
The ProcureTECH’26 programme will address all the issues and questions above and include contributions from a wide range of true experts such as Spend Matters (direct from Boston, USA by zoom), Gartner Group, Deloitte and several real-world practitioner case studies in addition to almost all the major eProcurement providers in this market.
The full detailed programme of speakers and vendor showcases will be released soon – so stay tuned. The spend meetings will be arranged via the MEETINGS MOJO app in the new year.
ProcureTECH'26 Themes.
The 2026 programme addresses the key challenges most procurement teams face when making their business case and both selecting and implementing the right eProcurement solutions for them in real-time.
The event also addresses technology needs within the context of procurement’s many challenges for 2026 which include the key PASA themes for 2025 and into 2026 and, particularly, how technology can enable solutions to these challenges:
2025 : Efficiency, Collaboration & Transparency
- Efficiency – faster process, faster technology, faster service
- Collaboration – with stakeholders, with suppliers, with other buyers
- Transparency – better ESG, better measures, better governance
2026 : Adaptability
- How procurement is changing quickly to meet changing needs
- Adapting to growing stakeholder demands
- Re-evaluating supply side options in a volatile world
Crucially, key topics will include A.I. application and usage by procurement, cyber-security on the supply-side and how to make USER self-service guided buying successful through technology.

Buyers Can Attend Free.
The PASA ProcureTECH event has always run, both LIVE and ONLINE, through the PASA ‘hosted buyer’ model, whereby bona fide buyers and procurement practitioners can attend this event free of charge.
In order to qualify for the “hosted buyer” programme, genuine procurement delegates must commit to conducting a minimum of three pre-scheduled meetings on behalf of their organisation for up to 30 minutes only with participating technology vendors. This facility allows you to quickly ‘screen’ vendors for suitability with minimum effort or buy-side resources. Or as one CPO said, “ProcureTECH allows you to do a month’s window shopping in a day.”
These pre-scheduled meetings will be conducted while the main conference programme is in progress, in stream three, meaning that hosted buyers must elect to opt out of around two of the stream one plenary scheduled speaking sessions on the KEY NOTE programme and perhaps some of the stream two vendor technical showcases.
Many BUYERS bring more than one team member to enable them to cover all aspects of the event simultaneously and still attend all plenary sessions.
Any one organisation may only claim a maximum of THREE hosted buyer tickets for three people under the hosted buyer model.
Those wishing to opt-out of the ‘hosted buyer’ facility can pay the retail cost of a delegate ticket to attend the event instead, as can non-exhibiting vendors and other people not currently working in a genuine procurement role.

Reasons To Attend.
Adoption of the right technologies has long been recognised as one of the three key pillars for building procurement capability – the others being ‘people’ and ‘process’. An argument is often made that increasingly technology and process are increasingly inseparable.
By attending ProcureTECH you will not only have the chance to explore what new technologies and innovations are now available, and what they can do for you, but also accelerate your understanding of the key issues involved in:
- Identifying the true business problems you are looking to solve through technology
- Scoping your technology needs more tightly
- Building a stronger business case for technology adoption
- Viewing new technology solutions in the technology showcase
- Selecting appropriate technologies
- Implementing new technology and IT strategies
- Integrating with existing legacy systems
- Network, share and connect with others in similar positions
- Getting expert INSIGHGT into new trends for functionality around A.I. and ESG
No other eProcurement event in the calendar provides you with this unique opportunity and with an impartial approach to all key vendors in the market.

What people say about our events.

The PASA conference was the best conference I had attended in many years – many practical advice and applications that my team and I can put to use straight away, a great investment of our time.
