Perth Big Breakfast.
Our Big Breakfast events are back following the tremendous success of our sell-out 2022, 2023 & 2024 series. We’re hosting seven Big Breakfast’s in seven cities throughout the region in 2025.
Connect and learn over breakfast.
We’re bringing an expanded program in 2025 to bring more procurement networking and knowledge over a tasty breakfast. Centre to each event is how best procurement can navigate today’s key challenges in the profession.

Capturing the true benefits now available from eProcurement technology and digitalisation work
Reviewing the future of global sourcing from Australia & New Zealand in the face of deglobalisation worldwide
Understanding local needs and differences

With demands on the supply side growing exponentially, it is almost impossible for a small procurement team to fulfill every request and every objective in a short timescale. Balancing the needs of a wide range of stakeholders in a small agency, weighed against commercial imperatives, can be a real challenge for a few pressed people in procurement.
One solution is to “decentralise’ the procurement workload and share effort within a designed control framework – like at MCB in WA. Using purchasing cards, the three-quote rule, set spend limits, a one-page procurement policy and clear roles for their small team … they achieved more in six months than in the previous 16.
Adam Blackheart, Manager – Procurement & Capital Works, Metropolitan Cemeteries Board, WA Government

An average of 9.2% of annual revenue is lost due to contract mismanagement according to a study by the World Commerce and Contracting association (WCC)
Indeed, the Top 10 systemic problems typically experienced by organisations when managing contingent labour are surprisingly consistent and, yet, can be largely solved in the same way through a digitally holistic ECT approach. Understand how you can automate to prevent being contractor-led in your payment process and avoid “paying in the dark” in future.

Across the utilities sector, procurement teams are under pressure to deliver faster, respond to changing needs, and build trust with diverse stakeholders — all without compromising governance or outcomes.
In this live panel discussion, Horizon Power leaders and Agile Procurement pioneer Henriette Kamfer join Twenty2 Collective’s Marcus Ward to share how a renewable energy project planning cycle was cut by 80% in a one day collaborative workshop — aligning internal teams, suppliers, and community stakeholders in record time and Innovation in procurement was demonstrated in utilities to rethink the future of metering technology.
This isn’t about cutting corners — it’s about transforming how procurement works through collaboration, transparency, and structured, time-boxed engagement.
You’ll learn:
- How utilities are rethinking procurement to be faster and more responsive.
