Brisbane, the Big Breakfast is heading your way!

Brisbane Breakfast

How does a hot breakfast sound this winter, complete with a side of networking and knowledge? Join us this July for a jam-packed morning of team building, real-world case studies and high-profile guest speakers.

Rolling into PASA’s home state, the Brisbane Big Breakfast will take place on 17 July at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, building on the tremendous success of previous sell-out series.

Why attend?

Join colleagues and peers from Brisbane to connect, share and learn together, while capitalising on the opportunity to:

  • Get across issues facing procurement now and in the future – and what you can do about them in practice
  • Tap into new procurement thinking from specially recruited procurement thought-leaders and experts
  • Hear real-world case studies from leading procurement practitioners and organisations, often facing the same challenges as you

Who will be there?

PASA’s Managing Director Lesley Wardropper will launch the event with a brief introduction that hones in on the event’s theme for 2025, exploring the three core challenges procurement leaders face today: efficiency, collaboration and transparency.

Followed by:

  • Michael Palmer, Head of Procurement ANZ, Tip Top – George Weston Foods, on how Tip Top’s procurement has evolved to deliver efficiency, collaboration and transparency to stakeholders
  • Adrian Ferguson, Customer Value Director at Coupa, on benchmarking for success – collaboration in real-time
  • Bronwyn Sloan, General Manager Procurement at Virgin Australia, on transforming procurement through efficiency, collaboration and transparency – a case study
  • Catherine Dawson, Head of Procurement & Enterprise Services at Aurizon, on how Aurizon’s procurement function is using a partnering premise with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to challenge the status quo and create enterprise value
  • Karen Lay-Brew, Strategic Advisor to the ATO on e-Invoicing, on the imperative of e-Invoicing
