Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) is seeking a new head of procurement to support the successful delivery of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games infrastructure program.
Responsible for overseeing and guiding the procurement function, the head of procurement will lead the continued refinement of GIICA’s procurement strategy, oversee significant sourcing activity, ensure alignment with the Queensland Procurement Policy and safeguard procurement capability as GIICA grows.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic leadership, commercial judgement, public‑sector governance capability and strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in senior procurement leadership roles in government, major projects, infrastructure delivery or similar complex environments.
The full-time hybrid role is offered as a three-year maximum term contract with the possibility of extension, with the expected salary ranging from $259,325 to $270,600 per year, including 12.75 percent super.
