Accenture recently completed the acquisition of global strategy consulting firm Partners in Performance, which will strengthen its offering to clients in industries such as metals and mining, oil and gas, utilities and chemicals – particularly in procurement and on the supply side.

Previously reported by PASA in May, the move will bolster cost & productivity reinvention and the delivery of capital projects, while accelerating energy transition and decarbonisation efforts.

Around 400 professionals will join Accenture Strategy from Partners in Performance. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Taking to LinkedIn, Skipp Williamson, Senior Managing Director at Partners in Performance, shared her positive reaction to the news.

“We’re all very excited to get to unleash potential with our new colleagues, deliver lasting impact together for our clients and drive meaningful change,” she said.

“Here’s to the first steps in our collective future!”

Also sharing the update on LinkedIn, Muqsit Ashraf, Group Chief Executive of Strategy at Accenture, welcomed Skipp and the Partners in Performance team.

“Excited for what we can achieve together, to elevate our advisory capabilities in enterprise reinvention across industries and functions and help our clients boost their business and sustainability performance,” he said.
